Role
Kabata is looking for a passionate Head of Growth who will build & scale the company’s growth engine. The Head of Growth will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and acquisition strategies to drive sustainable growth & retention. This role reports directly into the Co-Founder / CEO, and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, to identify and pursue growth opportunities that align with the company's overall goals.
What you'll do
- Set up and supercharge referrals & other creative methods to grow waitlist & eventual pre-order & sales campaigns.
- Lead content development as well as voice and tone across channels, including landing pages, emails, blog posts, creative assets, and ads / captions.
- Devise & implement an email campaign strategy, including initial sign-up flow as well as subsequent engagement & retention.
- Create & execute an SEO, SEM and backlink-building strategy, using keyword, user traffic and online competitor research as well as guest blogging.
- Use A/B tests & other methods to identify optimal pricing as well as best-performing content, creative, and messaging for each channel.
- Drive organic & paid marketing to grow our waitlist & social media accounts, using robust KPI tracking and efficient ad spend.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing & growth, outperforming CAC & ROAS targets and using data to inform decision making
- Proven track record of marketing excellence across the entire journey from acquisition through engagement and retention
- A deep understanding of tracking, ads, trends & best practices in paid digital media
- A naturally curious, resourceful and determined demeanor that allows you to devise creative growth mechanisms and hit KPIs
- SEO & SEM expertise with a track record of improving website rankings & traffic
- Experience scaling growth channels with deep expertise across social media (Facebook Ads, YouTube, Tiktok, etc.) as well as marketing and email automation tools (Hubspot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Strong copywriting skills with an eye for great ad creative
- Reputation as an effective storyteller who can create compelling narratives
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires strong prioritization ability with minimal oversight
- Intellectual curiosity & horsepower + natural excitement for the fitness space
